The Level 2 Report looks at breach and overtopping analysis of the tidal flood defences, taking into consideration the detailed nature of the flood hazard and flood risk managament issues.
The purpose of the report is not to indicate the likelihood of tidal flood defences being breached, but to indicate what areas would be affected of tidal flooding did occur. It has been confirmed by the Environment Agency that tidal flood defences across the Borough will be maitained throughout the planning period (2006-2026).
