The Government introduced several new application forms on 1st October 2009.
One of the changes implemented on the 1st October 2009 is an Application For Extensions To The Time Limits For Implementing Planning Permissions And Associated Listed Building And/Or Conservation Area Consents.
The objective of this chamge is to enable existing planning permissions to be replaced before they expire. The previous permission will not be revoked, but rather a new permission will be granted subject to a new time limit.
These applications will only apply to planning applications granted before 1st October 2009 which are extant at the time the application is made. Also the length of the extension will be subject to same time considerations as when granting a completely new permission or consent.
