Find out about the Community Environment Partnership for Eastbourne...
The Community Environment Partnership for Eastbourne (CEPE) is a sub-group of the Eastbourne Strategic Partnership and takes actions to maintain and improve the environment of Eastbourne.

CEPE’s primary objective is to develop, implement and monitor an Environment Strategy that delivers the environmental priorities that have been identified - including those set out in the Eastbourne Sustainable Community Strategy.

CEPE represents a cross section of the town’s community and was formed because the environment is a collective issue and not just the responsibility of one organisation. It has fifteen members who are representatives from the following organisations:

  • Eastbourne Community Network

  • Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce

  • Eastbourne Borough Council

  • East Sussex County Council

  • Eastbourne Homes Ltd

  • 3VA (formerly Eastbourne Association of Voluntary Services)

  • East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service

  • Sussex Police

  • NHS East Sussex Downs and Weald Primary Care Trust

  • Representative of learning establishments

  • Environment Agency
