On the Kennel Club Safe and Sound website you can read Sashi the Safe and Sound Hound’s rules for keeping safe around dogs - the 20 Paw Plan.
You can learn how to speak dog, so you will understand how dogs behave.
Then you will know what to do when around dogs so you do not get bitten. Learn what to do if a dog jumps up and frightens you, or if a dog knocks you over.
And remember to be safe when saying hello to dogs - always ask a dog’s owner permission before petting their dog.
