There was a wide range of attractions at the second annual Eastbourne Dog Show event in Hampden Park on Saturday 6 August 2011.
A Fun Day Out for all the Family
It was a fun day for all the family, and of course the dogs!

The event was officially opened at 11.50am by Eastbourne's MP Stephen Lloyd, with entries for classes from 10am. The show was held at Eastbourne Rugby Club, Park Avenue, Hampden Park, Eastbourne.
Refreshments
Refreshments were available from Eastbourne Rugby Club and the Hampden Park Cafe. There was an ice cream van at the show site.
Other Attractions in Hampden Park
Attractions in Hampden Park include Decoy Pond and semi-natural woodland with a wealth of native wildlife. There are also many fine specimen trees laid out across sunny lawns with picnic tables.
Near to the café a new Arboretum and History Garden opened in 2008. The trees and herbaceous border are laid out to show how plants have arrived in Britain throughout the centuries. Find out more in our Parks and Gardens section:
