Dog Welfare Advice

Our Dog Welfare Officer
Our Dog Welfare Officer

Our Dog Welfare Officer gives advice to owners on the care of their dogs.

Pet Care and Training

All dogs should be trained from an early age, because control is essential when living in a busy community.

This page has useful links to other websites with advice on pet care and training.

Talks and School Visits

We give talks to schools and adult community groups in Eastbourne on responsible dog ownership. The Dog Welfare Officer's own dogs are used for demonstration purposes. Find out more in this section.

We also have Kids Pages online, where children can meet Polar, the star of the council's talks and school visits, and learn how to stay safe around dogs.
