The Independent Schools Council is a politically independent, not-for-profit organisation consisting of over 1,300 independent member schools in the UK.
Their website is a valuable resource for parents throughout the country allowing them to run free detailed school searches to find suitable schools in their region.
The Independent Schools Council also offers a free phone service parents can use to discuss their requirements with their local advisor who visits all the ISC schools in your area, including those catering for special educational needs.
ISC schools collectively educate more than 500,000 children and ISC exists to promote choice, diversity and excellence in education.
They also promote the widening of opportunities for children of all capabilities and from all backgrounds to achieve their potential.
Note: Eastbourne Borough Council is not responsible for running state schools and colleges in Eastbourne. This is done by the Children's Services department of East Sussex County Council.
