Animal Bike Rider performs a stunt

Saturday 19th to Sunday 20th July 2008

Eastbourne Extreme blends inline and artistic skating with waterborne activities, bringing a rush of adrenaline to the south coast.

Extreme runs for two days during July at the eastern end of Eastbourne’s five mile seafront and welcomes around 20,000 visitors, with something to keep everyone amused.

Highlights

You can watch indoor inline hockey tournaments, inline skate demos and competitions, BMX demonstrations, inline limbo, high jump and tug of war competitions.

On the water the UK Windsurfing Association bring top UK windsurfers to compete in their slalom and freewave events, while visitors can have a go at windsurfing, sailing or powerboating themselves with experts on hand ready to give a helping hand.

Live bands fill the Eastbourne Extreme Band Stage and families can really join in the festival atmosphere with fairground rides to keep the kids amused, and shopping stalls too.
