Eastbourne Extreme blends inline and artistic skating with waterborne activities, bringing a rush of adrenaline to the south coast in this free two day event.
Extreme runs for two days during July at the eastern end of Eastbourne’s five mile seafront and welcomes around 30,000 visitors, with something to keep everyone amused.
Highlights
On land
Brand new for 2011 Extreme is getting ready to welcome a UK exclusive as the Street Surfing Rampage Tour comes to Eastbourne bringing its S Ramp to the UK for the first time! Visitors will be able to watch pro US skaters in action before having a go themselves - all for free!
The event will also include Slacklinz tightrope courses, Kamikaze Boarding, parkour, Zero Gravity Freestyle Trials Team, Eastbourne Sk8School, Loco Skate Jam, zorbing and more!
In the water
There'll be plenty of action in the water too, including Formula Future Offshore Powerboat Races, windsurfing, sailing, Stand-Up Paddleboarding and more! Spray Watersports will also have experts on hand ready to give advice.
In the air
Head to Princes Park and Five Acre Field and have a go at flying giant kites and kitesurfing.
Other Attractions
Live bands will battle it out on the Eastbourne Extreme Band Stage in the finale weekend and families can really join in the festival atmosphere with fairground rides to keep the kids amused, and shopping stalls too.
