9-11 October 2008
The biggest beer festival in East Sussex comes to Eastbourne every October. Try from a range of over 120 real cask ales on tap, from quirky named brews to award winners, all of which have been chosen especially for the festival by our local CAMRA members.
In addition visit the Wine Bar, Cider Bar and the International Bottled Beers Bar for a range of brews from all around the world.
Tickets
Tickets are placed on sale each July at Eastbourne Box Office on 01323 412000 and also from Visit Eastbourne's E-Shop. Price of a ticket includes information about all the real ales available and an Eastbourne Beer Festival souvenir glass.
Buying Your Drinks
Drinks can be purchased in third, half or full pints and are served from chilled casks. All drinks must be bought with tokens, which can be purchased in the foyer of the venue.
A full list of the real aleas available is included on the Eastbourne Beer Festival website. New for 2007 saw a brand new ale from Beachy Head Brewery. Fittingly named 'Beachy Head Original Ale', the full-bodied beer went down a storm with beer drinkers and sold out on opening night.
Eastbourne Beer Festival opens each evening with one daytime session on the Saturday afternoon.
Entertainment
Enjoy a variety of entertainment with two seperate stages from traditional beerkellar style Oompah to Morris Dancing, Rock n Roll, Jazz and Blues.
