Towner will be transformed into a hyper-real paradise on Saturday 9 March, with the return of the popular club night in collaboration with Melting Vinyl.
Inspired by the work of Kelly Richardson, the legendary club night will take on a full on Electronica feel. Grasscut, Static Memories, Alphabets Heaven and Fallow will be providing music alongside Ceyda Tanc Dance who will be performing their latest contemporary dance work ‘Volta’. After hours music will be provided by C-Dogg.
The evening will showcase Sussex Downs Digital Media students’ take on the Kelly Richardson exhibition, bringing corridors and stairwells alive with interactive projections and live performance art. With all the various performances this promises to be a fun-packed evening - all against the backdrop of Richardson’s stunningly beautiful post apocalyptic neon video installations.
Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism and Leisure, Cllr Carolyn Heaps said "Electric Dreams sounds an amazing event where art lovers can enjoy an evening of art, music and entertainment- all in the surroundings of an award winning contemporary art museum. The event adds to Towner’s legendary list of events and adds a unique aspect to Eastbourne."
So come along and join the fun, immerse yourself in the hyper real and enjoy the atmosphere. Overall an exciting electric evening!
The night kicks off at 8.30pm on Saturday 9 March.
Tickets are £8, £6 for Concessions and £5 for Towner members. Tickets will be an additional £1 if bought on the door so it is advised to book now!
