Bandstand on the Beach Enjoys Its Greatest Day

29 May 2012

‘The Greatest Take That Tribute’ will become a five-piece this Friday 1 June as the leading tribute to Robbie Williams joins the line up for a special concert on the beach.

The four piece tribute act have performed all over the world, at UK festivals, recently supporting Scouting For Girls and even as a special request for ITV’s Loose Women 10th Anniversary.

The addition of the UK’s No.1 Robbie Williams tribute artiste ‘Millennium’ will emulate the Progress tour of 2011 when Robbie rejoined the group, performing both his own hits and those with the band.

Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Neil Stanley said “What a way to kick start the Jubilee weekend, this will be a real treat from Relight My Fire and The Greatest Day to Let Me Entertain You and Angels.  A must for all Take That and Robbie fans.”

The band originally began life as a four man show to emulate the reforming of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald in 2006, following their successful Ultimate tour.  With a 90 minute fully choreographed show, in the style of the real Take That’s recent concerts, the five piece will bring a taste of the O2 to Eastbourne.

Bandstand on the Beach includes a temporary stage next to the Bandstand with deckchair seating, a wheelchair viewing area and a bar.  On Friday night the seating area will open at 7pm with the performance starting at 8pm.

Tribute night concert tickets cost Adults £7.25, Friends of Bandstand £6.75 and Child £5.25 in advance (on the door tickets cost £1 extra), or follow us on Facebook for exclusive deals on tickets.
