Eastbourne’s Redoubt is offering an exciting new creative course for seven to eleven year olds starting this weekend.
The Redoubtables Arts Club is an art course led by local artists, storyteller Sylvia Howarth and visual artist Kate Graham.
Children will be invited to take part in a range of creative activities and allow them to have the experience of using a variety of arts media.
The drop in course runs from Saturday 16 June until Saturday 14 July from 10am till 12pm and costs £5 per week.
Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Neil Stanley said “Eastbourne Redoubt has some fantastic events on over the summer 2012 season and this is one of them. The Redoubtables Arts Club looks like a great opportunity for children to get artistic and enjoy some brilliant activities.”
This is the first time the Eastbourne Redoubt has offered anything like this and should offer an interesting combination of activities for children.
The Redoubtables Arts Club is an exciting opportunity for kids to join in and get creative at an amazing location – leading to further courses in the autumn working towards the Discover and Explore Arts Awards.
