The following month Eastbourne Conference Bureau will return to International Confex for the third year to promote Eastbourne’s wide range of conference venues at the leading event for event organisers from 6 – 8 March at ExCeL.
At both events Eastbourne Conference Bureau will be offering conference organisers who have not held an event at Devonshire Park Centre before, the chance to receive 50% off* venue hire, covering facilities for up to 1,700 delegates.
Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism Cllr Neil Stanley said “We are really excited to be exhibiting at both CHASE and International Confex this year and hope that our fantastic offer will help us to attract new business into Eastbourne. CHASE is a great opportunity to promote Eastbourne as a conference destination to a key market for the town and we have had some brilliant leads from Confex over the past few years and hope to repeat that success in 2012.
“With the next stages of the Devonshire Park Review progressing, which include a commitment to invest further in Eastbourne’s conference facilities, as well as our biggest ever year of conferences ahead with 14,500 delegates coming into town, 2012 is set to be a great year for conferencing in Eastbourne.”
Eastbourne Conference Bureau will be using the exhibitions to raise awareness of the Devonshire Park Centre, which includes the Congress Theatre 1,700 seated auditorium, one of the largest in the south east, as well as the Winter Garden, catering for up to 800 delegates banquet style.
Also boasting 3100m in exhibition space, including the award-winning Towner Contemporary Art Museum, and offering Wi-Fi throughout the venue, the Devonshire Park Centre offers first class customer service with an excellent recommendation rate from previous organisers.
