A fantastic Tom Jones Tribute act will be coming to Eastbourne’s Bandstand this Friday 17 August.
With his powerful voice, Martin Jarvis was always compared with Tom Jones and endlessly requested to perform a ‘Tom-song’.
One song led to another and soon he was performing a complete Tom Jones Tribute act all over the world – this really is a tribute not to miss!
Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Neil Stanley said “I am delighted that another classic tribute act is coming to our Bandstand! The night looks set to be a big hit for all the family as everyone can sing along to so many of Tom Jones famous hits, so come along and join the party!”
As expected the show will cover everyone’s favourite hits including: The Green, Green Grass of Home, It’s Not Unusual, What’s New Pussycat, Delilah, She’s A Lady, Sex Bomb to name but a few!
Since the success of the ‘Reload’ album, Tom Jones has gained a new set of fans and Martin has blended these new songs into the show alongside the old ‘timeless’ favourites.
Such has been the accuracy of his reproductions of all the ‘Tom-songs’ that songwriters book him to record new songs for future singles and albums for the man himself.
In September 2001, Martin had his own album released on the Castle Pie label “Tom-tastic” The Ultimate Tom Jones Tribute.
You can close your eyes and listen to the voice but keep them open because you might just miss the action!
