The popular Eastbourne Beer Festival returns to the Winter Garden this weekend and visitors are being invited to smile for the Beer Fest camera for their chance to win tickets and drinks tokens for next year’s event.
An official Beer Fest photographer will be snapping groups enjoying the wide selection of real ales, ciders, perries and fine wines at the evening sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week to share on the Visit Eastbourne facebook page.
Visitors who agree to have their photos taken will have the chance to tag themselves in the photos on the Visit Eastbourne facebook page for the chance to win six tickets and £20 in drinks tokens for the session of their choice at next year’s event.
With tickets for Friday and Saturday night selling out months ago and just a few tickets remaining for Thursday night and Saturday daytime, Eastbourne Beer Festival promises to be smash hit with real ale lovers.
Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism and Leisure, Cllr Neil Stanley said “Eastbourne Beer Festival just gets bigger and bigger every year and is always packed full of groups of friends enjoying themselves and the fabulous selection of real ales on offer. We’re really pleased to have the chance to photograph willing groups this year in a real effort to convert visitors to our events to become facebook fans.”
Eastbourne Beer Festival kicks off on Thursday this week, from 27 – 29 October, and promises more than 120 real ales on tap, bottled beers from around the world, traditional pub games and a packed programme of live music.
The drinks menu promises a wide variety of British ales, including Coronation Street Bitter by Lees, What the Fox’s Hat by Church End, Village Idiot by White Horse and Legless Rambler made at Beachy Head Brewery.
Live bands will provide a bumper soundtrack across all sessions with performances from The Cajun Dawgs, Howlin’ Blues, Ragati String Band, The Mojo Makers, Band of Two, Beve and the Beetroots and dancing with Long Man Morris and Hunters Moon Morris.
