Visitors can enjoy a real winter wonderland in Eastbourne this Christmas as Fort Fun Family Fun Park open a brand new ice skating rink for the holiday season.
Fort Fun will open the real ice skating rink on Eastbourne seafront from 1 December and visitors can take to the ice between 10am – 8pm every day until 8 January 2012.
The ice rink will be undercover with food and refreshments available, and whether visitors are novice skaters or more experienced, the winter attraction will offer a festive themed day out for the whole family.
Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism and Leisure Cllr Neil Stanley said “We are very excited that Fort Fun are introducing a brand new ice skating rink for Eastbourne this festive season and I’m sure it will prove a popular addition to the town’s Christmas attractions.
“With so much going on in Eastbourne during the next couple of months, the town makes a fantastic destination to spend Christmas away from home and I hope that visitors enjoy the great range of festivities on offer.”
Enthusiastic ice skaters can book in advance from Fort Fun's website to use the ice rink or pay as they go on the door with each session lasting 45 minutes. Adult tickets are £7.50 and children are £5.
With Fort Fun also home to Rocky’s Indoor Soft Play Adventure Land with lots to keep the little ones entertained, there are plenty of reasons for families to get their skates on and head to the adventure park this Christmas.
