15 February 2011 Eastbourne’s award-winning art gallery is inviting families to be inspired this February half-term with workshops at Towner offering children the chance to make their own kimonos and warrior armour.
On Friday 25 February, artist Rachel Cohen will stage another of Towner’s successful family workshops, with children aged 5-7 invited to come along in the morning, and children aged 8-11 invited to come along in the afternoon, ready to make kimonos and warrior armour with a 21st century twist!
And with Eastbourne offering a packed week of activities this half-term, families can find plenty to keep busy in the UK’s sunniest place, including a special Creepy Crawlies Discovery Centre at Drusillas Park and Eat Your Heart Out workshops at the Observatory Science Centre.
