From Monday 14 February, Southern Gas Networks will shortly be carrying out work to renew the gas supply network in Eastbourne town centre.
The existing iron gas main in a section of Terminus Road is nearing the end of its useful life. From Monday, 14 February we will be replacing it with modern, durable plastic (polyethylene) pipe, as part of a £200,000 project designed to ensure the area’s gas supply remains safe and reliable long into the future.
