The only quadricycle hire at an English seaside resort, Ride N Joy are pulling out all the stops to host a packed day for Halloween on Sunday 31 October with the chance for families to take advantage of half price bike hire and explore Eastbourne prom and the contemporary Sovereign Harbour Marina.
Visitors will be greeted by spooky characters at the Fisherman’s Green kiosk and can take on the traditional Halloween game of apple bobbing, before jumping on the quadricycles and enjoying a journey with a difference along Eastbourne seafront.
Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Cllr Neil Stanley said “Ride N Joy really are getting ready to put on a fantastic Halloween event and offer visitors a unique way to enjoy Eastbourne seafront and get into the spirit for the annual holiday. Taking inspiration from the US who really go to town for Halloween, families will love the colourful quadricycles and decorations adorning the Ride N Joy kiosk and it’s a great way to enjoy a gentle cycle ride on the last day of half-term!”
Children and adults can hire the quadricycles at a half hour or hourly rate and at half price on 31 October; families can enjoy a 30-minute ride for as little as £5.
Preparing to open every weekend during November and December, subject to weather conditions, Ride N Joy offers an alternative day out for families looking to enjoy Eastbourne’s winter sunshine and combine a leisurely cycle at the same time.
