Eastbourne Borough Council has been presented a certificate in recognition for their support to VT Enterprise for providing work experience placement opportunities for local students, engaging in work related learning activities and being a sponsor of the annual Eastbourne Youth Radio.
VT Enterprise has the Connexions 360 contract from East Sussex County Council providing information and advice to young people in the County.
In a statement, Councillor Tutt, the Leader of the Council says, “Eastbourne Borough Council is committed to providing opportunities to local students to better prepare them for working life and to promote the career options available to them in local government.
The Council has a responsibility to lead and support its local community and engage as a major employer in the town.”
