Services provided by Eastbourne Borough Council may be affected by the winter weather. The following gives information of what is affected.

News on council services are announced here.
No snow overnight. Council services expected to run as normal. Temperature at a maximum of 2o today but strong winds could make it feel like -5o. Bands of snow could hit Eastbourne and East Sussex today, according to the BBC.
Cemeteries and Crematorium
Langney Cemetery and Eastbourne Crematorium are open as normal. Ocklynge Cemetery is pedestrian access only.
Waste Collections
Recycling, garden waste and refuse collections are going ahead as normal.
Additional paper, cans, glass, textiles, plastics bottles and household batteries can also be taken to one of Eastbourne’s 20+ “bring sites”.
Roads and Highways
Roads are clear but ice may have caused potholes. To report pot holes to the East Sussex County Council Highways Team, use the Fault Reporting System on the ESCC website.
