The whole 1st team and their coaching staff will be greeted by the Mayor in the Mayor’s Parlour.  The Blue and Golds have, in winning the league, not lost a home game all season and managed to score an average of 32 points during every match.

The President of Eastbourne Rugby Club, Bob Dunbavin, says, “It has been a fantastic season for the club who are proud to represent Eastbourne. We had the pleasure of hosting the Mayor at a game earlier in the season and it is now a tremendous honour for us to be invited to this reception”.

The majority of the victorious team have been brought up through the club's youth development programme which trains several hundred boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 18 throughout the year.
