‘Cinders’ Can Still Go To The Ball

14 March 2007

With only one week to go before the Mayor’s Charity Ball on Friday 23 March in support of Eastbourne Lifeboats, there are now just a few tickets left so you still have the chance to attend this fantastic evening.

The Worshipful, the Mayor of Eastbourne, Councillor Colin Belsey, says, “If you want the chance to win lots of Formula 1 racing memorabilia, plus dozens of raffle and auction prizes including signed first editions by well known authors, a tennis racquet signed by Andy Murray, tea at the House of Commons, an off- road driving experience with Mercedes Benz and lots more then this is the event to attend and raise money at the same time for my chosen charity.”

The event will take place in the Floral Hall at the Winter Garden, with doors opening at 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Following a delicious three course dinner there will be dancing to the lively sounds of Baypoint, and a cabaret by Eastbourne Stagers, a local youth group that gives opportunities to hundreds of youngsters to perform or help backstage in musical theatre.

Tickets in advance £30 each.  Black Tie/Dark Suit.  Carriages at midnight.

For tickets and enquiries contact the Mayor’s Office, Town Hall, Eastbourne, telephone: 01323 415 020.
