Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow looks set for an early take off with a special preview event for businesses on Tuesday 26 June.
Held at the Grand Hotel, the event will feature the World renown aviator, author and record breaker Polly Vacher flying into the Western Lawns with the Army Air Corps Historic Aircraft team.
The event is being held to unveil Polly’s latest charitable challenge and to preview this year’s Airbourne and future opportunities, especially for businesses across the South East.

At the launch Polly will unveil her involvement at the show and her latest ‘Wings Around Britain’ challenge, which aims to raise funds for her ‘Flying Scholarships for the Disabled’ charity.
Polly brings with her a wealth of experience which has seen her achieve many records including - the first woman to fly solo in a single engine aircraft over the North Pole and Antarctica. The flight is documented in her inspirational book ‘Wings Around the World’, which also helps fund the charity.
Those attending the launch will have the opportunity to meet Polly, along with Major George ‘Smoky’ Bacon MBE from the Army Historic Aircraft Flight and the Flying Display Director who can provide a behind the scenes insight from air traffic control to flying in formation.
Guests will also have the opportunity to win 2 places for exclusive hospitality at the Officers Club during the show.
