Dropping used chewing gum is disgusting, unsightly and an offence which carries a fine of £75.00, so I would urge those who dropped chewing gum to act responsibly and throw their gum in a litter bin.”
It is estimated that some 20 million people in the UK chew gum and more than 930 million packs of gum are chewed each year.
