How can we help to make the area a better place to live? This was a question discussed by residents of Devonshire Ward at a feedback event on 20 September.
The Eastbourne Strategic Partnership (ESP) commissioned an Area Profile to bring together data about the area, together with resident’s views on local issues. The project has the overall aim of enabling service providers and the community to work together to make the area a better place to live by designing a neighbourhood action plan.
The event provided information and displays together with an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions and get involved in the future development of the project.
Chairman of the ESP, Councillor Ian Lucas said "This event is an opportunity for the residents of Devonshire Ward to get involved in their area. The ESP is pleased to have initiated this project."
Neighbourhood Worker Cathy Smerdon said "This event will kick start involvement across the whole community through the Neighbourhood Action Plan, to improve the Devonshire Ward."
