The Eastbourne Local Development Framework: Core Strategy – Preferred Options Report has been prepared for widespread public consultation.
The Report presents a spatial vision and objectives for the future growth and development of the Town and lists the Council’s preferred options to manage change in the Borough over the next 20 years.
Eastbourne Borough Council’s spokesperson for Planning, Councillor Patrick Warner said “Eastbourne will be faced with a number of key development issues between now and 2026 and the Preferred Options Report is an important opportunity for residents, businesses and local organisations to become involved in shaping the future of our Town.”
The Report will be available for the public to view from 30 November 2006 on the Council’s website
www.eastbourne.gov.uk and at the Council Offices at 1 and 68 Grove Road and at local libraries.
A rolling programme of public events will also be taking place over the next three months, including focus groups with young and older people as well as public exhibitions across the town in local supermarkets.
