To commemorate the lives of those cremated at Eastbourne Crematorium a service of remembrance will be held in the Cloister Garden, adjoining the Main Chapel, on Sunday 2 July 2006 at 2.15pm.
Eastbourne Borough Council’s Cabinet’s spokesperson for Housing, Health and Community Services, Councillor Sandie Howlett, says “I do hope as many people as possible will be able to join in this special service, even if it is some time since their loved one passed away. Services such as this are a meaningful way of remembering those no longer with us and gives the opportunity to share with others who have also lost a loved one.”
