The biggest beer festival on the South Coast returns from 12 – 14 October and after last years sell out success, visitors are being advised once again to book tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Eastbourne Borough Council Spokesperson for Tourism, Councillor David Elkin said “We have had so many enquiries this year following last years sell out success that we have decided to open the box office a little earlier this time.”
“Our partners CAMRA (Campaign For Real Ale) are also doing a grand job sourcing 120 of the best real ales, ciders and perries in the country for everyone to enjoy, including the return of favourites such as the super strength Wobbly Bob!”
The Oompah band will provide more foot stomping beer kellar fun and if real ale isn’t your thing, then the wine and international bottled beer bars return with some of the more exotic offerings from around the world. Go for classic dark Bavarian beers, fruity Belgian beers or try the range of new world wine on offer.
The festival returns at the Winter Garden with sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and Saturday afternoon. Ticket prices range from £4.50 to £6.50 in advance and £5 to £7.50 on the door (free for children under 16 when accompanied by an adult). A 50p discount is available for CAMRA members at all sessions and for NUS cardholders on Thursday only.
