Mr Hau, owner of Eastbourne’s famous restaurant group, is holding a Charity Evening in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief. The event will take place at the Town Hall on Sunday 19th February, beginning at 7.00p.m. The Worshipful the Mayor of Eastbourne, Councillor Graham Marsden will be in attendance.
Councillor Marsden says, “I am looking forward to supporting the Charity Evening, particularly because it will raise funds for an important charity in the 21st Century. I doubt whether there is a family in Eastbourne that does not know of someone who has suffered from some form of cancer. Every penny counts in the campaign to reduce the incidence of this widespread disease.”
The evening has a “60’s, 70’s and 80’s” theme so attendees should dress accordingly, with the three best dressed receiving prizes. Dance music will be provided by the talented duo, “Azara” who will be performing songs of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Food will be top class with Mr Hau’s “Famous” buffet.
There will be a free “Gold Star Draw” for one year’s free Gold Card Membership which entitles frequent diners a 10% discount at Mr Hau’s restaurants, and the star raffle prize will be a cooking lesson with Mr Hau himself!
Tickets are £18.00 which includes a welcoming free glass of Lucky New Year Cocktail.
