Momentum, Eastbourne’s regeneration partnership, is pleased to announce that Rubicon Regeneration have been appointed as consultants to produce an economic development framework for the Eastbourne/Hailsham Triangle.
The “Blueprint Project” will examine the economic factors affecting the area within the context of local and regional development policies. The main result will be short, medium and long-term recommendations for actions that will benefit the area economically for residents and visitors.
Kim Sweet, Chair of Momentum and leader of the project, says, “The objective of Momentum is to take a holistic approach to regeneration and the Blueprint Project is the first stage in developing the future plan for economic development of the Eastbourne/Hailsham Triangle.”
Business groups, schools, colleges, University, voluntary groups and community leaders are invited to take part in discussions as part of the research process that is informing the action plan. Discussions will take place during March 2006.
The project is co-funded by the Eastbourne Strategic Partnership, East Sussex Economic Partnership and Tourism South East.
