Not Guilty verdict rocks Eastbourne Bandstand

Audiences at Eastbourne’s Bandstand will find the band Not Guilty at Saturday night’s Rock N Roll Night.

The five-piece band will have audiences “Rocking around the Clock” from the moment they “Walk in the Room”. Some band members boast playing with the likes of Manfred Mann, David Bowie and the Troggs. The band performs around East Sussex and has vast musical experience spanning many years.

An Eastbourne Borough Council Spokesperson says, “The Bandstand season really is in full swing, with concerts for every music fan on a weekly basis. What better way to enjoy the summer sunset than down at the bandstand with live music?”

Friday 1 September brings a return visit by Alter Eagles, the Eagles Tribute band with their hits such as “Peaceful Easy Feelin’”. Mid Sussex Brass will host the Proms Concert on Sunday 3 in a stirring evening rounded off with pyrotechnics.

The 1812 Fireworks Concert on Wednesday 6 will see Crawley Millennium Band entertain audiences in a rousing rendition of the traditional musical night, and Thursday’s Big Band Night features Johnny Spice Orchestra for a swinging night out. The Planet Boppers will be at the Bandstand on Saturday 9 September for the Rock N Roll night.

Doors and bar open at 7pm and bands take to the stage at 8pm. As always fans are advised to book early to ensure a ticket.
