A Victorian Gallopers Carousel is becoming a huge success with residents and visitors alike. The attraction takes up a small section of the Wish Tower car park and is in keeping with the Victorian image of the Seafront.
Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet Spokesperson for Environment, Tourism and Economy Councillor David Elkin says, “Given the grave concerns shown by some residents regarding the temporary siting of the carousel it is refreshing to see it being welcomed and well used by children visiting our glorious seafront.”
Members of staff have received positive feedback about the carousel and the music played for people riding the attraction is kept to a reasonable level.
The carousel has been sited on the seafront as an extra attraction for the summer and will stay on the seafront until the end of the summer holiday.
