Description
The website contains information on the society, the area it covers, how to join, and how to buy Family History and Local History books from their bookshop.
At meetings there is usually a guest speaker on a Family History topic or a related subject. Occasionally there is a research evening.
There is always the opportunity to purchase books on aspects of family history.

Second Wednesday of the month (except August) from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m
The Tomlin Research Room:
Thursday mornings from 10.00 a.m. until noon
Saturday mornings from 10.00 a.m. until 12.30 p.m.

- a family history orientated lending library for members
- computers with family history CD-ROM resources
- several fiche readers for looking at the micro fiche of the IGI, the 1881 census, and the 1891 census for Hastings plus other miscellaneous fiche.
