Eastbourne has been chosen as the film location when filming for the remake of a classic murder thriller takes place in October and November 2009.
A remake of the 1947 movie Brighton Rock will begin filming in Eastbourne mid October after producers felt that the resort’s traditional seafront provided the perfect setting for the film.
Brighton Rock is set to star Sam Riley as the film’s lead character of Pinkie, originally played by Lord Richard Attenborough, while Dame Helen Mirren and Andrea Riseborough will also star.
Filming in Eastbourne will begin on Sunday 18 October 2009.
