Public Questions

Members of the public have the right to speak at most meetings on issues listed on the agenda for that meeting. Time is also set aside at the beginning of most meetings for the public to ask questions and you can submit a question online using the form below.
 
The procedure for speaking at council meetings is the same for all committees except for Planning Committee - see How to Comment on Planning Applications.
 
Please read our Your Right to Speak leaflet, available to download below, before submitting your question. If you submit your question electronically you do not need to complete the hard copy application form also available to download below.
