Planning Committee consists of eight councillors from a pool of 12 and who have completed relevant training in regulatory matters.
The committee is responsible for granting or refusing permission for planning developments, including enforcement of planning controls, conservation areas and listed buildings, and the making and regulation of tree preservation orders.
