Elections for one-third of the seats at Eastbourne Borough Council took place on Thursday 4 May 2006. One seat in each of the nine wards was contested.
Elections 2006 - Balance of Eastbourne Borough Council:
Conservatives 15 seats, Liberal Democrats 12 seats
Conservatives retained four seats and gained one. Liberal Democrats retained four seats. Conservatives retained control of Eastbourne Borough Council with an increased majority.
