Director of Housing, Health and Community Services: Neil Fuller
The Housing, Health & Community Services Department consists of three divisions:
Success for Housing, Health & Community Services is dependent upon effective partnerships with others – including local businesses, contractors, statutory and voluntary agencies and local residents and customers.
Our responsibilities are diverse, but what unites us is our broad customer focus and the vital role that all of our services play in making Eastbourne a place for everyone.
The following service areas also report directly to the Director of Housing, Health & Community Services, and work closely with the Financial Services department:
Benefits – we pay Housing and Council Tax Benefits amounting to more than £34 million to nearly 10,000 customers
Counter Fraud and Interventions - we take action to prevent and recover overpayments and pursue sanctions and prosecutions against those who seek to defraud taxpayers
