Chief Executive: Martin Ray
The Chief Executive is the head of the council's paid service and responsible to elected councillors for the effective operation of the council and ensuring council aims and objectives are met.
The Chief Executive also heads up the Chief Executive's Department, which consists of three divisions:
Financial Management
Human Resources
Strategy and Democracy
