Information that is already exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (2000) and Environmental Information Regulations (2004) will not be available for re-use.
The regulations do not apply to all public sector bodies.
Some examples of requests that fall outside of the regulations are where:
Copyright in the document is owned by a third party,
Supply of the document falls outside of its public task or where the information does not directly relate to the Council’s core responsibilities,
The documents held by educational and research establishments such as schools, universities, archives, libraries and research facilities,
Documents held by cultural establishments including museums, libraries, art galleries, theatres and performing arts establishments, and
Documents held by public service broadcasters (radio and TV stations) for the fulfilment of any public service broadcasting remit.
