You can complain to the Information Commissioner if you think that the Council has breached any of the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (2004).
This might include:
Incorrect usage of the exemptions
Failure to respond within the specified timeframes
Supplying incomplete or incorrect information
At your request, the Information Commissioner will carry out an assessment of the Council's decision to establish whether or not we have complied with the regulations.
Should the Information Commissioner find that the Council is not complying with the regulations then the Council will be issued with a notice requiring it to take steps to ensure compliance.
