Where possible, Eastbourne Borough Council will meet any requests to provide information in various formats.
If a request is for Personal Data that is covered under the Disability Discrimination Act (1995), for example large print format and Braille, we may not charge more than the normal cost of providing that information.
In other cases, for example information requiring translation into a foreign language, or multiple formats, we may charge for the cost of providing this.
In the majority of cases you will be provided with a copy of the data you requested. This may be a printout of the information from a computer system or a manual photocopy.
