Personal Data processed for any purpose shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose.
The Council discourages the retention of Personal Data for longer than it is required. The Council will ensure that Personal Data is securely destroyed when it is no longer needed provided that retention periods as required by law have been complied with.
