The council undertook a part review of the polling districts and polling places in its area. Parts of Old Town, St Anthony's and Upperton Wards - Polling districts OTD, SAA, SAB and UPE.
Polling Districts and Polling Places
A polling district is the geographical sub-division of an electoral area. Neither the parliamentary constituency boundary nor the local government ward or division boundaries may be changed by this review.
A polling place is the building or area in which the polling stations are located. The council has prepared draft proposals which are published on the council's website and available for inspection as set out below.
Details of the current arrangements for polling districts OTD, SAA, SAB and UPE and proposals for change, together with supporting information , can be downloaded (see below) or may be inspected at the Town Hall, Grove Road, Eastbourne on Mondays to Fridays between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
The final date for receipt of representations was 5.00pm Wednesday 18 April 2012. Details of any representations received will be made available for inspection.
