Cycling Strategy

Consultation Closed 22 December 2011

Have your say about our draft Cycling Strategy for Eastbourne

Cycling is an important sustainable travel option for residents, commuters and visitors in Eastbourne. We want to find out what you think about our draft Eastbourne Cycling Strategy which has been jointly developed by Eastbourne Borough Council and East Sussex County Council.

We would like to hear the views of as many people as possible, including local residents, businesses and anyone interested in cycling in East Sussex. Your views will help us to find out what people think about our vision to create a safer, more attractive and accessible cycling network in and around Eastbourne and for improving the availability of information and training for cyclists.

Please read the draft Eastbourne Cycling Strategy below before you answer the questions.

Alternatively, paper copies can be provided on request by contacting Andrew Keer, Principal Transport Policy Officer, East Sussex County Council (see below for contact details).

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete:

Please return your completed survey by 22 December 2011 to:

East Sussex County Council
Economy, Transport & Environment (AK)
FREEPOST (LW43)
County Hall, Lewes,
East Sussex, BN7 1BR

If you have any queries about this survey or you need a copy of it in a different format such as large print, Braille or in a different language, please contact Andrew Keer by phone 01273 336682 or email andrew.keer@eastsussex.gov.uk

Your responses will be considered and used to shape the final Eastbourne Cycling Strategy. This will be submitted to Eastbourne Borough Council Cabinet for a decision in early 2012.
