Street Trading and Town Centre Market Consultation

This consultation closed on 2 January 2012

The council is updating its policy and approach on street trading, aiming to make Eastbourne a thriving place to live and to be in business.

Regular Street Market in the Town Centre

The new draft Street Trading Policy now covers every street in the Borough, and the majority of streets will be considered as consent streets.

The policy includes the provision for a regular street market to be held in particular locations in the Town Centre.

Your views on this particular aspect of the draft Policy are very important to us. Local residents and businesses were encouraged to fill in an online questionnaire to let us have views and comments in this consultation, which closed on Monday 2 January 2012.
