Consultation on New Executive Arrangements

Eastbourne Borough Council is reviewing its existing executive arrangements following legislation passed by the Government. The legislation requires us to change our executive decision making process to one of two leadership options, namely Strong Leader or Elected Mayor.
This consultation has now closed. The Council chose to adopt the new "strong leader and Cabinet" style of executive. You can read the proposals document describing the new governance arrangements and related information at our Executive Arrangements section of the website.
