Consultation Closed on 22nd May 2009
Eastbourne Borough Council has published an updated Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) for consultation. The SCI has been updated due to changes in the regulations from the publication of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2008.
The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets the standards and approach that Eastbourne Borough Council takes to involve stakeholders and the community in the production of the Local Development Framework (LDF), as well as the handling of major planning applications. The update makes technical amendments in light of the new regulations.
The statutory consultation period was between 10th April 2009 and 22nd May 2009. The SCI will be made available for public viewing from Friday 27th February 2009. However, any representations made before the start of the statutory consultation period will be held and not made viewable until 10 April 2009.
